LOUD LUXURY

It would be easy to call this aesthetic ‘loud luxury’; the antithesis to the uber-luxe, pared-back pieces that dominated recent seasons. But doing so risks overshadowing the beauty and intricate craftsmanship of some of the more maximalist pieces from the FW24 runways.

PREP SCHOOL

At the opposite end of the style spectrum is the preppy, polished, and chic sportif look, spotted at Bally, Loewe, Gucci. Giving uniform dressing a grown-up feel, sleeveless cricket vests, collegiate blazers, polo shirts and sensible loafers are key.
